growing up an only child I think my need for alone time to do things comes naturally, while I also greatly recognize my great need to be around people for work, leisure, church, and the like. i’ve been contemplating silence for a while now and since coming to know christ have had increased understanding of my need for it as well as what a discipline it is to truly engage in.
